Return & Refund policy
Section 1 - How to Request a Return or Exchange
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item through one of the following methods:
- Contact us at info@miaomada.co.jp with your order number (as shown in your order confirmation email).
- If you have an account, you may also request a return through your order history (if self-service returns are enabled).
Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return address and instructions. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Section 2 - Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The request is made within 14 days of receiving the item.
- The item is unused and unopened, with all original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories intact.
- The invoice (or order number) can be confirmed.
For defective or incorrect items, please provide photos of the issue. Once confirmed, we will process an exchange or refund.
Section 3 - Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Used, opened, stained, or damaged items
- Items missing accessories, damaged packaging, or removed tags
- Sale or clearance items
- Items returned without prior contact or approval
Section 4 - Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or incorrect items: covered by the Company (postage paid).
- Customer reasons (such as size or preference): borne by the customer.
Section 5 - Refund Method and Processing
Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Details regarding the refund method will be provided separately via email from our company.
Please note that it may take approximately 5–10 business days for the refund to be completed.
Section 6 - Exchanges
If stock is available, we will exchange your item for the same product.
If the item is out of stock, we will issue a refund instead.
Section 7 - Refused Deliveries or Long Absences
If a package is returned due to refusal of delivery or prolonged absence, it will be treated as a cancellation for customer reasons. If you request reshipment, additional shipping charges may apply.
Section 8 - Legal Notice – Cooling-Off and E-commerce
Please note that the cooling-off system does not apply to online sales under Japanese law. All returns and exchanges are handled in accordance with this policy. Matters not specified will be handled in accordance with the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
